Compact Designs – Tasmania, Australia!

November 23rd, 2010

Compact Designs has always tried to contribute something back into the community either by business sponsorship or donations to charities and organisations that need help in someway.

This year we decided to go a little further afield ~ on a trip to South Africa we visited the Pfukani Pre School. The children were wonderful and we were treated to a lovely afternoon of song! We wanted to help the school and community in someway and we thought how the children would benefit from some play equipment and organised to supply them with soccer set, swing set and climbing frame. Although not enough, it’s start and we hope to be able to add to their playground in the future. [ See More ]

A Fullhouse Ringetani Experience!

November 23rd, 2010

19th September 2010
Hippo Hollow

Allison of Hippo Hollow organized a Welcoming Event for the arrival of 500 guests to their lodge.

Allison was openly appreciative and grateful to the Ringetani Group, for the services provided of the Ringetani African Drumming, accompanied by the Ringetani Marimba Band and Ringetani Gumboot Dancers. This truly enhanced the chosen theme of “Team Building” for the delegates.

It was also an unexpected surprise for the guests, when each was gifted with a refreshing face cloth by a Ringetani greeter, after their long journey… and the Ringetani African music inspired smiles and very appreciative thanks from all.

Allison was very happy and truly appreciative of a great performance.

Thanks so much from all at Ringetani, to Allison and Hippo Hollow
[ http://www.hippohollow.co.za/ ] for the opportunity to showcase our Traditional Ringetani Teams!

Ringetani Tribal Dancers

It was such a fantastic experience for a French Group as they were watching a very Energetic Ringetani tribal dance on the 22nd October 2010 at Pezulu Game Lodge next to Kapama Game Reserve.

Claude and Lidia the Owners of Pezulu further Congratulated the Dancers, as it’s always the best way for their guests to experience the beauty of African culture through this great performance.

The performance itself…  inspired the guests to change their South African slogon of “Big Five” to “Big Six and Half!”

Well done Ringetani!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both guests and the bride and groom were extremely excited by the natural African music, especially accompanied by the absolutely wonderful Traditional Tribal dance performance…

Ringetani African Choir

November 22nd, 2010

20th September 2010
Leopard Hills Game Reserve

Heather and Seamus, the bride and groom from South Ireland, received a taste of beautiful African culture as they were blessed by the Pastor, while listening to the Ringetani African Choir sing softly and respectfully.

In the middle of the bush where the Leopard Hills Game Reserve lies untarnished and undisturbed by the urban world, the Ringetani Choir produced natural and melodic music to accompany the wedding ceremony. Select guests at the lodge provided an appreciative audience as they watched and enjoyed both the music from the choir and the gorgeous wedding ceremony.

The Leopard Hills staff were excited and enthusiastic while observing their guests experience the flavor of African music! What a brilliant memory!

Thanks to all for a wonderful experience!

Ringetani Traditional Dance

November 22nd, 2010

5th July 2010
Umbhaba Lodge Hazyview

Ringetani’s Traditional Dance Group witnessed this great milestone for the newly-weds as they provided the entertainment at the celebration of the wedding at Umbhaba lodge on the 5th July 2010.

African drumming by Ringetani set the beat  as the guests were welcomed to the ceremony, although they were silent and respectful throughout the ceremony itself, afterward the rhythmic beat allowed the party to really get started.

The Ringetani Tribal Dance Group preformed like they never had before, and this was what illustrated their wish to the newly-weds, that they have a long, strong, cherishing marriage! The tribal dance was a highlight for all that witnessed it, and this filled the lodge with excitement and helped make the wedding as great as it was.

Thank-you to all from the Ringetani Group for allowing us to share in this wonderful celebration!
