It was a great day for Ringetani and the local people of the area, as they met together for the Ringetani Annual Christmas party which was held on the 8th December 2007.

Christmas in Africa, like other places, is about sharing with each other whether family or friends..... (or even both) .....it’s about celebration and the giving of gifts..... it’s about shared laughter and fun!

Even though our community is rife with poverty, and we have many orphans to support.... we are learning more about Christmas, the deeper meaning and the celebratory aspects so when we do get together at our Christmas party, we forget our problems and challenges for a while and celebrate and have fun!

We were able to do this, simply because of the generosity of Silvia Meldrum of Scotland who Donated R 5 900.00, Andrea Webster of Elephant Research who Donated R2 000.00, and Bev Morgan of Rand Merchant Bank who donated clothing for the Ringetani Children, and which enabled us to celebrate with our fellow community members during our annual Christmas celebration of 2007.

Thank-you very much Silvia Meldrum, Andrea Webster, Bev Morgan and all those who made this special event possible!

Despite our many challenges in serving our community we were able to bring a smile to everyone’s faces during our Christmas party, and provided each with food parcels, clothing and even some toys and gifts for the children. It was possible to host this event with such generosity because of the kindness and generosity of all those who gave so generously with such kindness, thank-you!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have supported us with donations and sponsorship in the past allowing us to make this special day happen.... There are many of you from all around the world, Thank-you!
