Funding and Donations

Getting a Vehicle....

With help from many......
Ringetani receives a vehicle in 2004 to start their ‘tourism’ initiatives.

Basic living standards in the Ringetani area...

Many of the elderly widows are unable
to support themselves, and Ringetani
helps where ever possible with
the basic necessities.

Orphans from Huntington...

Above: Ringetani took time to celebrate the Easter 2006 holiday with orphan children at Huntington - Kruger National Park, bringing smiles to their young faces.

Thanks for the help!

Above: Despite the hard work and long hours that the managers, Lodrick Manyathele and Goerge Ndlovu of Ringetani give willingly to make a success of their many endeavours, they spent a full day with Marco Spies, (centre of photo) of the Umlani Bush Camp, seeking advice and ideas on how to overcome the challenges they encounter and to succeed in the tourism industry. Thank-you Mr. Marco Spies for giving so freely from your heart and of your time.

Chris from Chilli Pepper Lodge

Above: 2006 - Chris from Chilli Pepper Lodge, presents a cheque for R2000.00 to Ringetani, a donation gratefully received from
Mr Rodgermany of England.

Ringetani Youth Gumboots Dance Group

Above: Soccer Laduuma company
sponsored The Ringetani Youth
Gumboots Dance Group in 2005.

The youth have worked extremely hard at developing their dance group, as an achievement this in it’s self is worthy of note. For Lodrick and the Ringetani group it is the foundation stone of their entire communities development program. Given their hard work and achievement, they have taken their talent out and marketed their group as entertainers, cultural ambassadors and brought home hugely valuable income which funds the others facets of the upliftment initiative. These self earned funds support the communities job creation, literacy, HIV/Aids education, and other skills development initiatives. These are both expensive and ongoing, although they are working towards being self-funded, they still need a tremendous amount of help, support and donations are always welcome and put to good use within the organisation. Their work is undertaken with Respect, Honesty & Integrity as fundamentals.

Funding and Social Responsibility

Although time taking, Ringetani takes it’s social responsibility seriously, identifying people in their immediate vicinity in need of daily necessities such as food, clothes and shelter. Many of those who suffer are ill or elderly and unable to earn the money required to provide for themselves.

There are many who find themselves in difficult situations, without knowing when or how to provide for their next meal..... water in Africa which is always a valuable resource, too often is scarce due to drought and the lack of social or government infrastructures in rural communities.... to provide even this daily necessity. Clothing and shelter in these conditions becomes an insurmountable challenge. Ringetani spends time in their local community and surrounding vicinities, identifying those in greatest need and endeavouring to provide immediate relief as well as long term solutions.

Even the smallest donation goes a long way to helping those in dire need through the Ringetani social projects..... and money earned from bookings received for the Ringetani Tribal Dance Group and Choir, as well the Ringetani Cultural Village Tours and Overnight stays, all provide valuable income to improve the living conditions of all within the umbrella structure and area of Ringetani!

Despite the many challenges, the team of Ringetani endeavours to identify and provide for everyone in need within their area. Being one of the few projects in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa, they realise on a daily bases the commitment and the responsibility they have undertaken to help those who suffer within the Ringetani Project area, and know that without the help of donations - monetary, large or small, gifts of clothes, food and other necessities, there is no hope of ever being able to meet even the smallest requirement..... However, through the generosity of those who have already given, and the work they continually do, their courage deepens even as they struggle, their enthusiasm grows even as they achieve, and their hope of helping even more people in need within their community and surrounding areas, grows every day!

With your help and contribution, however small or large.... be it monetary or gifts of food, clothes, blankets, utensils, books or anything you would like to donate, Ringetani endeavours to continually provide and ease the suffering of those people within their area of responsibility and their surrounding areas.

Whether you would like to make a booking for the Ringetani Tribal Dance group or Ringetani Traditional Choir, enjoy and experience a Ringetani Traditional Village Tour or Ringetani Cultural Village overnight stay, enhancing your unique African experience, or whether you would like to make a monetary donation or donation of gifts, please feel free to contact Lodrick Manyathele, Ringetani’s Social Responsibility Manager.

Our commitment is to ensure that your donation is utilised in the best way within the Ringetani Project area to ease the suffering of those people in most need.
